Here are some guidelines to help as you prepare your items for the sale. Click here to see what is acceptable and not acceptable for the sale.

Supplies Needed

HANGERS – in order to protect your clothing items we only accept plastic hangers. Find plastic hangers at Wal-Mart, Target, Dollar Stores. Retail plastic hangers are acceptable too.

STRING TAGS – Avery White Marking Tags Strung (size 1.75 x 1.093 inches) are required on each item to affix our barcode labels to. You can find these at Wal-Mart, office supply stores, the Rhea Lana Store or large quantities may be purchased from Amazon.

You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc…), masking tape, scotch tape, sharpie, and safety pins. For large quantities of quality safety pins we recommend ordering from Cleaners Supply .

If you would like to print your barcodes at home you’ll need adhesive address labels size 1” X 2 5/8” (30 up). We recommend ordering from Amazon Here. Please note: all labels printed at home MUST be printed in color.

Clothing

The better they look, the better they sell! Please take time to wash and iron your clothes if necessary. Please check for stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, etc.

We will be checking your items at the store and will not receive any item that has rips, tears, holes, buttons/zippers missing, stains, or is out of season.

Use small hangers for sizes 10 and below. Use larger hangers for sizes 12 and above. 'Plastic and wire-coated hangers can be purchased at discount stores. Click here to see what is acceptable and not acceptable for the Sale.

We accept clothing in boy's sizes 0-20, girl's sizes 0-16, and junior sizes 1-11 in teen styles. We also accept maternity clothing in-style and in good condition.

Please group items together so that they will equal a value of at least $3.00. They need to be pinned together as well so they don't get separated.

All pants must be on retail hanger with clips or pinned to a hanger, not folded over, as they tend to end up on the floor and shoppers want to see the entire pant to purchase.

Safety pin all sets and accessories securely together with pants hung on the back of the shirt at the waist. Both pieces need to be viewable without unpinning them.

Shoes

Shoes must be in great or like-new shoes condition! If possible use a ziptie to hold your shoes together. If a ziptie won't work, please place shoes in ziploc bag. 1) Put your consignor number and price on masking tape on the bottom of the shoes, this will help if they get separated. 2) Safety pin the price tag to a shoe lace or through the shoe eyelet.

No heavy winter boots for the spring/summer event.
No flip flops/sandals for the fall/winter event.

WE WILL NOT ACCEPT SHOES WITH SCUFFED TOES, SHOES WITH HOLES, TORN UPPERS/SOLES, DIRTY OR DISCOLORED SOLES. ***A Magic Eraser works wonders!***

For Fall and Winter

Boy's & Girl�s clothing (All Clothing must be seasonally appropriate, clean and odor-free. Outdated clothing does not sell well.) We will take pants, jeans, SCHOOL LENGTH shorts, long sleeve shirts, t-shirts, jackets, Fall/Winter shoes in excellent condition, boots, tennis shoes, dress shoes, cardigans, seasonally appropriate dresses, winter hats, winter coats, gloves, scarves, childrens costumes, Holiday (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc) outfits. *Please no spaghetti straps, sleeveless, swimwear, or flip-flops*

For Spring and Summer

Boy's & Girl�s clothing (All Clothing must be seasonally appropriate, clean and odor-free. Outdated clothing does not sell well.) We will take pants, jeans, shorts, athletic shorts/tops, t-shirts, tanktops, light weight jackets, swimwear, boots, tennis shoes, dress shoes, sandals, flipflops (MUST be clean and in excellent condition), light weight cardigans, seasonally appropriate dresses, hats, childrens costumes/dress-up, Holiday (St. Patricks Day, Easter, 4th of July, etc) outfits, and long-sleeved shirts that are �spring like� in fabric and look (although, they sell better in the Fall). Don't forget about rain gear, sun hats, and pool accessories! *Please no winter coats, winter hats, gloves, scarves, or winter/furry boots.

Loose Items

Bottles, bibs, rattles, socks, bows, etc group together appropriately in ziploc bags. Seal with clear packing tape. Pin tag to ziploc bag. It also helps to write your consignor number and info on the ziploc with a Sharpie in case the tag comes off during the sale.

Toys, Furniture, Equipment

Must be clean and in working order (batteries included.) Small parts must be bagged and attached to the main part very securely. If parts get separated it will not sell. Games should be taped closed. Puzzles, books, videos, and small toys should be grouped accordingly and put in ziploc bags. Secure with clear packing tape and attach tag to the ziploc bag. It is also good to write your consignor number and info on the ziploc bag with a Sharpee in case the tag comes off. Puzzles should be wrapped securely in clear Saran wrap or placed in a ziploc bag to keep the pieces intact. TOYS NOT PACKAGED APPROPRIATELY WILL BE TURNED AWAY.

We will only accept Disney or other name brand stuffed animals in like new condition.

Large Little Tikes Toys and Furniture are in high demand! When tagging large toys it is best to also attach a piece of masking tape to the toy with your consignor information. This will enable us to sell your toy even if the tag comes off!

Toy recall information- Due to the high number of toy recalls during the past year, we will be inspecting toys very carefully. We reserve the right to pull any toy that we think might have been recalled. To help us, please do not bring any toys that have been subject to a recall. Car Seats

Your car seat must have been manufactured within the past five years. Check the underside of the car seat for the manufactured date. It must not be subject to recall or have been in an accident. You may check the following website for current recalls: www.carseat.org/Recalls/179NP.pdf All seat covers and straps must be thoroughly cleaned. You will be asked to sign a car seat waiver stating your car seat has all the pieces and is in excellent condition and not more than five years old. Car seats will be closely inspected for safety reasons.

Furniture Nook!

If you would like to bring large household furniture pieces please obtain permission and item approval.
This will all be based on our space limitations. All furniture must be in Great conditon.

CRIBS

Due to the thousands of recalls and the crib regulations being raised, we will not sell any crib manufactured before December 2010. Contact the manufacturer of your crib to find out if it is recalled. Most companies will send you a repair kit or give you instructions on how to return your crib for a refund.
